Canada Fans

Canadian citizens do NOT need a visa or eTA to enter Canada (you already live here!). Just bring your valid passport or citizenship card.

From Eastern Canada: Air Canada, WestJet, and regional carriers run direct flights from Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Halifax to Vancouver (YVR). ~5–6 hour flight from Toronto.

From Western Canada: Many short-hop connections from Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg. ~2–3 hours from Alberta.

Budget airlines: Check Flair Air and Swoop for affordable cross-country options.

Coming from another province? You'll want local data in BC. Get an eSIM before you board— BC Hydro WiFi is fine, but BC Place WiFi fails completely during matches (54,500 fans in one stadium).

Burnaby or Surrey: More space, better value than downtown. 20–30 min to BC Place by transit. SkyTrain is fast and reliable from these areas.

Yaletown or Downtown: 5–10 min walk to BC Place. Pricier (expect $600–1,200/night during matches), but you'll be in the heart of it. Restaurants, bars, nightlife all walkable.

SkyTrain: Fastest and cheapest option from anywhere in Vancouver. All lines converge at Stadium-Chinatown Station (5 min walk to BC Place).

Pro move: Arrive 2+ hours early. Match day crowds make SkyTrain busy, but still faster than driving and parking.

Clear bag only (max 12" × 6" × 12"). Bring your passport or citizenship card. Phone should be charged—you'll want it for photos and navigation.

Before the match: Chinatown is 5 min from the stadium. Grab dim sum, noodles, or drinks with the crowd.

After the match: Granville Street (closed to cars) fills with 10,000+ fans. Street is yours—embrace the chaos.
