BC Place Gates & Entry Guide
Which gate to use, shortest queues, doors open times, and what to bring.
Stadium Gates
Gate A (North Plaza)
Access via Pacific Boulevard. Main entrance. Usually the busiest.
Gate B (Northeast)
Northeast side of the stadium. Mid-range crowds.
Gate C (Southeast) — INSIDER TIP
Quebec Street entrance. Consistently the shortest queues. Not many tourists know about this one.
Gate D (South Entrance)
Terry Fox Plaza. Family-friendly area with adjacent parking.
Gate G (Northwest)
Secondary entrance. Good for reducing crowds.
What Time Gates Open
Doors open 3 hours before kickoff. Match Day Spectator Route opens 4 hours before kickoff.
- 9 PM match (Jun 13): Gates open 6:00 PM, route opens 5:00 PM
- 3 PM match (Jun 18): Gates open 12:00 PM, route opens 11:00 AM
- 12 PM match (Jun 24): Gates open 9:00 AM, route opens 8:00 AM
- 6 PM match (Jun 21): Gates open 3:00 PM, route opens 2:00 PM
- 8 PM match (Jun 26): Gates open 5:00 PM, route opens 4:00 PM
Clear Bag Policy Reminder
- Clear plastic bags only: max 12" wide × 6" deep × 12" tall
- One small clutch or wristlet (max 4.5" × 6.5") — solid color OK
- Medical bags with documentation (EpiPen, insulin)
- NO backpacks, NO purses, NO drawstring bags
- NO outside food or drink (plastic water bottles OK)
Pro Tip: Queue Strategy
Arrive 90+ minutes before kickoff at a quieter gate (C or G). Expect security lines to move quickly, but clear bag inspection adds 10-15 minutes. Planning ahead means you're in your seat with time to spare for pre-match entertainment.
